Job Overview
To grow Stryker's Joint Replacement business by promoting Hip and Knee products to Orthopaedic Surgeons and optimizing customer service, growing existing accounts through technical expertise. The Product Support Specialist – Manual & Robotic provides clinical product support to end users along with guidance and assistance during Mako surgical procedures.
This role offers flexibility and mobility to support multiple territories over two regions for the first 12 months, after which the candidate will consolidate efforts within one team and region.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Demonstrate outstanding ethics, treat customers and employees with respect, and represent the company positively.
* Communicate essential benefits of products and their clinical applications.
* Act with integrity and deliver on commitments within required timescales.
* Construct and execute business plans in collaboration with mentors/managers.
* Develop rapport with customers, understand their needs, and utilize troubleshooting opportunities to grow the business.
* Identify stakeholders in decision-making processes and engage appropriately.
* Work under supervision, keep supervisors informed, and achieve sales targets and KPIs.
* Support and maintain existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and collaboration.
* Develop strategies to strengthen Stryker's market position.
* Communicate effectively and negotiate with customers to foster profitable relationships.
* Participate in organizational meetings and maintain customer databases/CRM tools.
Clinical/Technical Expertise
* Provide front-line clinical and technical support during surgical procedures.
* Train surgeons and hospital staff in the use of Stryker’s Mako robot.
* Assist in pre-operative planning and troubleshooting robotic systems.
* Collaborate with Field Service to resolve technical issues.
* Build knowledge of implants and robotic applications to become a trusted resource.
* Complete necessary training and obtain certifications for robotic and manual procedures.
