Door Supervisor - Restaurant
Location: Hale, Cheshire
Pay rate: £14-£15 per hour
We are looking for experienced, customer service led security professionals to join our team of Restaurant security supervisors.
We currently work with many top UK restaurant brands offering a slightly different approach to security work. We want people who understand hospitality and have a welcoming, courteous personality. Our teams are an extension of the restaurant management team, understanding the brand and helping contribute to the overall experience of the venue. Customer service for a restaurant starts at the door, a welcoming hello and sincere goodbye can go a very long way in the restaurant trade. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for restaurant guests, staff, and property.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
- Enforce access control measures to ensure only authorized personnel and guests enter designated areas.
- Prevent and manage conflicts or disturbances effectively, ensuring a calm and safe atmosphere.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including medical incidents or fire alarms.
- Collaborate with restaurant management and staff to address security concerns and implement preventive measures.
- Report incidents and write detailed incident reports as necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in security services within a hospitality or restaurant setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to remain composed in challenging situations.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is essential.
- A strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of customer service and safety.
