Sales Engineer. Industrial Flooring (Insitu Resin)
Location: East of England
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 basic + Quarterly Bonus + Annual Bonus + Company Car + Benefits
Job Type: Full-time. Permanent. Field-based.
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist contractor and manufacturer of industrial flooring and surfacing systems. The business delivers high-performance resin flooring solutions into commercial and industrial environments and continues to grow across the East of England.
This role suits a technically minded Sales Engineer who enjoys site visits, managing projects, and building long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
* Manage and grow an existing customer base across a defined territory
* Develop new business opportunities with contractors and end users
* Carry out site surveys and assess project requirements
* Produce and follow up technical quotations and proposals
* Attend project meetings and liaise with internal teams
* Support project planning, RAMS, and installation handovers
* Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and pipeline data
* Represent the company at industry events when required
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in technical sales or sales engineering
* Proven ability to generate new business and manage key accounts
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to interpret technical requirements and propose solutions
* Full UK driving licence
* Must have experience selling or working with flooring systems, resin coatings, cladding, decking, or prefabricated construction materials
Desirable
* Background in construction, civil engineering, or a related technical field
* Experience selling into contractors, facilities managers, or industrial clients

* Competitive basic salary. £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

Location
Field-based role covering the East of England. Ideal locations include Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, or Norfolk.
