ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of their ongoing company expansion, my client has identified the requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to join the business. The requirement will be based from the office in Bristol and will involve site visits which will primarily be across the south of England. The main responsibility will be managing and coordinating the external and internal commercial outputs and processes associated with remediation and enabling projects.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the Operational and Bid team in order to develop and implement project financial processes; Assist in collation of variation cost proposals; produce applications for payment / valuations; support the negotiation of final accounts; attend client meetings; ensure compliance with contract conditions; and work closely with project managers to forecast, monitor and update project financial performance and cashflow and compare against tender stage budget to name just a few duties.
REQUIREMENTS
For this exciting opportunity, you will be degree qualified in a related discipline and hold a minimum of 6 years’ experience working in a Quantity Surveyor role. Experience in the fields remediation, earthworks and/or groundworks is required.
Furthermore, you must hold a full UK driving license as this opportunity will involve a reasonable amount of travel.

For this opportunity, we are targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere between £55,000 – £70,000 per annum however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability.
