Main duties of the job
* Work under the supervision of registered Dietitians to provide follow-up for patients referred for nutritional support and other dietetic interventions.
* Obtain relevant information from patients, other staff and electronic notes.
* Advise and educate patients on foods suitable for their dietary needs.
* Identify patients’ food and drink preferences and prescribed supplements.
* Assist in the nutritional monitoring of patients by collecting specified information such as anthropometric measurements, biochemistry, and nutritional intake and support the implementation of dietetic interventions, reporting findings to the responsible Dietitian.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good level of general education including A levels and GCSE or equivalents including functional skills level 2
* Advanced/higher level apprenticeship for example AP apprenticeship or similar and / or NVQ level 4 in relevant subject or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
* Care certificate
Experience
* Able to demonstrate substantial experience in health and care settings including in the relevant field of work.
* Demonstrate the values of the NHS and commitment to personal and professional development.

£28,392 to £31,157 a yearper annum, pro rata
