The Client
Loom Talent Limited has exclusively partnered with a rapidly expanding international 3PL business, seeking 2 x PM Warehouse Shift Managers (14:00 - 22:00) to join their team in Milton Keynes.
Their clients include Retail, E-Commerce, FMCG, and General Merchandise sectors. These roles follow either a fixed Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday shift pattern. Candidates must be able to work these shifts regularly.
The Role
The 2 x PM Warehouse Shift Managers will oversee all activities within their area, working closely with the Site Operations Manager and senior leadership team. These positions offer significant autonomy for experienced logistics professionals and involve:
* Managing a team of up to 30 indirect reports through 2 Shift Team Leaders.
* Overseeing warehouse and distribution activities to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
* Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to enhance performance and reduce costs.
* Maintaining accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
* Ensuring on-time, in-full deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
* Monitoring KPIs such as lead times, cost per unit, and supplier performance for continuous improvement.
* Managing warehouse operations, layout, stock movement, and safety compliance.
* Identifying process improvement opportunities.
* Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
* A background in logistics, distribution, or supply chain — Essential.
* At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience in logistics/warehousing/distribution — Essential.
* Experience managing teams of over 25 — Essential.
* 3PL warehouse experience — Advantageous.
* Strong leadership and team development skills — Essential.
* Enthusiasm for large-scale growth challenges — Essential.
* Ability to commute to Milton Keynes five days a week — Essential.

* Salary: £36,500 to £38,500.
