Consistent SEN Support Roles – Ongoing & Long‑Term (Not Daily Supply)
Inspire EHC is recruiting experienced SEN Education Support Staff across Norfolk to join our books for ongoing contract and long‑term placements within schools and residential care settings. These are consistent SEN support roles, not day‑to‑day supply.
We are keen to hear from SEN Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants (LSA), SEN Support Workers and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) seeking reliable SEN work throughout Norfolk, including but not limited to Norwich and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated, compassionate SEN professionals who want continuity, strong relationships and meaningful impact.
SEN Education Support Roles – Norfolk
You will be supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including:
Autism (ASC)
Communication and interaction needs
SEMH and trauma-related behaviours
Complex and additional needs
Roles are available in:
Mainstream schools
Specialist SEN schools
Residential education and care settings
Key Responsibilities
Providing 1:1 SEN support and small-group interventions
Supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH needs in education or care settings
Helping to create safe, structured and nurturing environments
Implementing behaviour support strategies and trauma-informed approaches
Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff and families
Promoting emotional regulation, engagement and positive outcomes
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as:
SEN Teaching Assistant
Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
SEN Support Worker
Education Support Staff or HLTA
Strong understanding of SEN, SEMH and trauma-informed practice
Calm, patient, empathetic and resilient approach
Reliability and commitment to long‑term, consistent SEN placements
Ability to work across Norfolk (locations matched where possible)
