We’re looking for a motivated Senior Cost Consultant to join our London team. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across both pre- and post-contract cost management stages, with the confidence to lead project delivery and support client relationships.
This full-time, hybrid role involves working with clients and project teams to deliver residential developments across the UK (£20m - £150m), reporting directly to an Associate Director or Director while leading high-profile schemes.
WHAT YOULL DO:
* Lead day-to-day cost management activities across assigned projects
* Manage cost planning, procurement, and post-contract delivery through to project completion
* Work closely with clients, consultants, and wider project teams to support successful project outcomes
* Provide commercial advice, risk management, and value engineering support throughout the project lifecycle
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, including senior-level engagement
* Support and mentor junior team members
* Contribute to the continued development of digital and data-led approaches to cost management
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:
* MRICS preferred or another relevant professional qualification
* Strong technical capability across core cost management and project delivery processes
* Commercial awareness with a strong understanding of residential cost drivers and development objectives
* Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience managing workloads across multiple projects and delivering to deadlines
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
* Adaptable and proactive approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* Interest in digital and data-driven approaches within construction and cost management
* Passion for the Real Estate and Construction Industry and developing a long-term consultancy career
