Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hard-working candidate who will be flexible, and organized with good interpersonal and communication skills and is a team player but also able to work on their own initiative. The post holder will be responsible for the supervision and day-to-day management of the housekeeping team across sites based in Gillingham, Chatham, Rochester and Hoo.
Responsibilities
* Organise and plan staff rotas, sickness cover, annual leave, training and more as instructed, while ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and a safe environment for the people we care for.
* Open and close the building on occasion.
* Stock control, monitoring and ordering.
* Management and coordination of staff rotas, timesheets and training.
* Assist the Facilities Manager with organising shift cover and workload management for the housekeeping team.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Previous cleaning experience.
* Hardworking and motivated; able to work at different locations.
* Experience in administration and supervising staff (desirable).
