Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Phototherapy Nurse to join our Dermatology team at Health Harmonie. You will play a key role in delivering safe and effective phototherapy treatments to patients with a range of dermatological conditions, including psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, and other chronic skin disorders.
Responsibilities
* Administer phototherapy treatments in accordance with clinical protocols.
* Monitor patients during and after treatment for adverse reactions and ensure safety procedures are followed.
* Educate patients on treatment plans, skin care, and phototherapy risks and benefits.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health systems.
* Collaborate with dermatologists, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions.
* Ensure all equipment is maintained and calibrated according to safety standards.
Qualifications
* Compassionate and detail-oriented nursing professional with experience in phototherapy or dermatology preferred.
* Ability to educate patients and communicate treatment plans, risks, and benefits effectively.
* Experience using electronic health records and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to quality improvement and ongoing training.
