The Role:
We are looking for a caring and motivated Support Worker to become part of our mental health support services. In this role, you will work alongside adults facing mental health challenges, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and maintain their emotional wellbeing. You will play a key part in fostering independence, supporting recovery, and creating a safe, encouraging environment.
Main Duties:
Deliver individualised support in line with personal support and recovery plans Support individuals with everyday tasks while promoting autonomy Encourage participation in community activities and social opportunities Observe, record, and communicate any changes in mental or emotional wellbeing Work in partnership with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and families Keep clear and accurate records and adhere to organisational policies and standards
About You:
A strong interest in and commitment to supporting people with mental health needs Effective communication skills and a compassionate approach Confidence working independently as well as collaboratively within a team A patient, respectful, and understanding attitude towards individual needs Experience in mental health or care settings is helpful but not required comprehensive training will be provided
