Job Description:
Lytchett Minster School is looking for highly motivated colleagues who are passionate about working in our school and who will relish the prospect of making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
Required for one of the loveliest school sites in Dorset, we are looking for a full-time Assistant Grounds person to tend and develop the beautiful grounds with a specific emphasis on maintaining our sports facilities. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, and happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Previous experience is essential, and a sports turf background would be desirable. The post holder will work closely with the Site team, ensuring the school site is maintained to a high standard.
Set in a semi-rural location with an 18th Century family Manor House at its heart, Lytchett has one of the most beautiful and inspirational learning environments in the county with stunning extensive grounds and modern extensions. The school is highly regarded in the community, providing outstanding pastoral care and high-quality teaching. It has a successful sixth form with over 340 students.
Lytchett values its independence as a secondary school serving its local community and producing excellent outcomes for its students, and has not joined a multi-academy trust.
