We are looking to add a Financial Accountant to our team who will support our Head of Financial Accounting, so if you're looking to develop and bring something different to Aspris - we'd love to hear from you!
The role:
* Provide information that will inform financial decisions that assist with auditing, queries from external agencies and to assist with financial budgeting.
* Day-to-day interrogation and analysis of accounting system data to support internal and external reporting requirements, including VAT reporting and compliance corporation tax data preparation and support.
* Assist with the transition of subsidiary statutory accounts to FRS101 accounting framework and other accounting projects
* Assist with driving continuous improvement initiatives across financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and data integrity
What do we need from you?
* ACA qualified with at least 2 years practical work experience
* Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally with experience in FRS 101 and IFRS
* Solid understanding of VAT and corporation tax implications in a UK context
* Involvement in management accounts and statutory accounts preparation or audit processes
* Experience in accounting systems with high level Excel skills and ability to understand system processes
