Janitor - 3 Month Contract | Birmingham | £13.20 p/h | Immediate StartThe AssignmentWe have an immediate requirement for a Janitor to join a busy laboratory/industrial facility in Birmingham. The assignment is expected to run for 3 months, with potential for extension for the right candidate.What the Work InvolvesWorking as part of the facilities team, your duties will include:- Cleaning and maintaining labs, washrooms, offices, hallways, and cafeteria areas- Managing waste disposal and recycling services- Carrying out general upkeep including dusting, polishing fixtures and maintaining supplies- Supporting site requests such as cleaning tasks, moving items, and minor facility projectsHours, Shifts & PayShift pattern: Monday-Friday, 17:00 - 19:30Pay rate: £13.20 per hourPay frequency: WeeklyHoliday pay: Accrued and paid in line with assignmentWhat We Need From You- Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role preferred (healthcare, laboratory or industrial setting advantageous)- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision- Strong attention to detail and a team player mindset- Good communication skills and basic understanding of safety practices- Ability to carry out routine, repetitive tasks and work in a physically active role- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)- Right to work in the UK - documentation will be required before startCall to ActionReady to start?
