Business Support Officer - Grade 5

Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Business Support Officer - Grade 5. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of our business activities. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude, working collaboratively with various departments to optimize processes and enhance overall efficiency. You will be tasked with managing and coordinating diverse administrative tasks, including handling correspondence, maintaining records, and assisting with project management initiatives. Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
Manage and maintain accurate records and databases to ensure data integrity.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management.
Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points as necessary.
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring professional communication.
Support project management initiatives, including tracking progress and deadlines.
Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and implement solutions.
Requirements
Proven experience in a business support or administrative role.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £14.59
Location: Somerset, South West England
