Area Sales Manager - Midlands Located and Covering Midlands £55,000 OTE uncapped Car or car allowance This is an opportunity to join Johnson Health Tech UK (Matrix Fitness) who are one of the fastest growing, and largest manufacturers, of fitness equipment in the world. We are looking for a self-starting, creative and personable Sales Manager to join the Regional team. Summary Your main responsibility is to develop new customer relationships and sales opportunities within the sector Ideally you will have proven experience of new business development, meeting sales targets and working with company KPI’s but this is not essential if you feel you have the personality and drive to be successful in the role. This role will require extensive travel mainly within the UK. The successful candidate will reside within the region. Essential duties and responsibilities: Meet and exceed sales targets as agreed with the Head of Sales and Sales Director by developing new business opportunities. Update Head of Sales on market conditions within the territory/sector, including competition and in conjunction with the Head of Sales, develop and execute an annual sales strategy to maximise results and efficiency. Accurate sales forecasting, updating onto CRM. Keep abreast of all Matrix products and services. Deliver training on product and benefits to customers at site. Attend internal sales meetings as required and represent the business at trade shows. Attend customer installations. Qualifications Good standard of education A Good understanding of Fitness and the Fitness Industry Relevant sales training, A degree in sports science or similar is preferred, though not essential. Experience and skills Self Starter, Motivated, Creative, Ambitious, Works well in a team, can follow and improve instructions given and most importantly personable. Efficient in time management and personal organisational skills. Good communication, both written and oral. · Proven selling and presentation skills. Well networked and good knowledge of the industry. Self motivated, KPI driven with a desire to succeed. Must think outside of the box, be innovative and solutions driven. Must live within the territory. A good team player willing to support and help colleagues develop.
