About The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated candidate to join our Medical Affairs team as a Senior Medical Associate for the UK and Ireland. You will play a crucial part in guiding medical Knowledge (internal and external), engaging with key stakeholders and pharmacovigilance.
Your responsibilities
* Scientific Communication: Plan, develop, and sign off evidence-based, validated messaging for promotional, educational materials and packaging, in line with Reckitt procedures and regulatory standards.
* Medical Education & Initiatives- HCP education & support: Design and execute impactful medical initiatives such as symposia, webinars, advisory boards, and round tables to raise awareness of unmet needs, emerging evidence, and product use across the portfolio.
* Internal Expertise & Product Knowledge: Lead and secure internal category and product knowledge, proactively staying informed on clinical topics, product composition, and usage to support internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Strategic Medical Input: Lead the medical affairs input for the UK and Ireland, contributing to strategy and execution by identifying and analysing trends in clinical practice, nutritional science, publications, guidelines, and healthcare economics to shape current plans as well as future innovation.
* Stakeholder & KOL Engagement: Lead KOL and stakeholder management in collaboration with healthcare teams, building productive relationships with HCPs, key organisations, and opinion leaders to support product credibility and manage risks.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Ensure effective ways of working across medical teams, internal stakeholders, and global teams to deliver strategy, execute activities, and secure product registration and HCP support.
The experience we're looking for
* 3–5 years post-qualification experience in healthcare, academic, or commercial settings.
* A degree in Science (medical, dietetics, nutrition) or other relevant life science field.
* A background in clinical practice, ideally with experience in paediatric- gastro allergy is a strong advantage.
* Prior experience in medical affairs or industry collaboration.
* Good understanding from a nutrition / dietetic perspective of different conditions and diseases, clinical needs and clinical practice related to our scope.
* Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to translate complex science into clear, actionable insights and drive cross-functional alignment.
