Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Building Surveyor, based in Bury St Edmunds with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting condition surveys, managing building projects from planning stages to completion, delivering feasibility studies and overseeing contract management. The Building Surveyor will support our mission to improve educational facilities while maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in Building Surveying, including project management and adherence to regulations
* Experience conducting Condition Surveys and compiling detailed reports
* Proficiency in performing Feasibility Studies to assess project viability
* Skilled in Contract Management, including project programming
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
* Accredited education in Building Surveying or a related field
* Membership in a professional body such as RICS or CIOB is an advantage. Training will be provided with regards APC, S2e have a 100% first time pass rate
* Experience in the education sector or with educational premises projects is desirable
