Relevant Five is partnering with a rapidly expanding Digital Marketing and Communications agency to identify a CTO.
As CTO, you will join our Board of Directors and partner with the CEO to shape a 3-year technology strategy that drives growth, efficiency, and innovation. This hands-on role requires evaluating and enhancing our products, processes, and tech infrastructure to support our ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a 3-year technology roadmap aligned with business growth objectives.
* Standardise and optimise our tech stack, focusing on web development (WordPress), SEO/PPC tools, and VoIP systems.
* Design an API strategy to enable seamless integration of internal and external tools.
* Collaborate with media and telecoms teams to enhance systems and processes.
* In collaboration with the CEO drive an AI strategy (internal and external) to boost efficiency and revenue.
* Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data security regulations.
* Lead the team
Required Skills and Experience:
* 5+ years in a senior technical leadership role (e.g., CTO, VP of Engineering) in digital marketing, web development, or telecoms.
* Proven expertise in architecting scalable solutions in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
* Deep and strong understanding of web development frameworks (e.g., WordPress) and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).
* Familiarity with SEO/PPC tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics) and VoIP technologies.
* Demonstrated ability to simplify complex technical challenges into actionable solutions.
* Exceptional communication skills for board-level, internal, and client interactions.
* Knowledge of GDPR and data security best practices.
* Degree in Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
