SEN Teaching Assistant – Early Years
Location: Alderholt, Fordingbridge
Start Date: Immediate start
Contract: Fixed term until 31st August 2026 (with potential to extend)
Hours: 12.5 per week, Thursdays and Fridays, 8:30am–3:15pm, term-time only
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a schoolto appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs in the Early Years provision.
This is a rewarding role where you will work under the guidance of the Early Years Lead and SENDCo, providing both one-to-one support and assistance within the classroom, as well as in an individualised workspace.

The Role:
* Provide one-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs in Early Years
* Assist with academic, emotional and communication development
* Work collaboratively with class teachers, the SENDCo, and the Early Years Lead
* Play an active part in the wider life of the school community
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds (or is working towards) a Level 3 childcare qualification (preferred)
* Has prior experience supporting children in Early Years and/or with additional needs
* Brings enthusiasm, patience, and a nurturing approach to learning
* Is committed to inclusion and high standards for every child

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
