IT Helpdesk Technician - Brooksby College

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and conscientious IT Helpdesk Technician to join our busy IT Services team at Brooksby College.
Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for all IT queries and resolve issues or ticket them to the appropriate teams.
* Collaborate with the IT team to solve problems and provide end‑user support.
* Assist with casework and projects across the wider IT team, as required.
* Communicate clearly and accurately with users, colleagues and management.
* Maintain high levels of attention to detail and professionalism.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a generalist IT support role, dealing with Microsoft technologies.
* Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical information to non‑technical users.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
* Team‑player attitude with a strong sense of accountability and detail orientation.
* Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks within a busy environment.
