What you'll be doing as Insurance Advisor
You'll support customers across a range of personal lines Insurance products, handling enquiries, quotations, renewals and policy changes, while making the most of sales opportunities on every call.
1. Handling inbound and outbound calls, providing a professional and personable service
2. Producing Insurance quotations and converting opportunities into new and additional business
3. Supporting renewals and retention, building strong customer relationships
4. Processing mid-term adjustments and customer instructions accurately
5. Identifying cross-sell opportunities and making introductions where appropriate
6. Recording and managing leads and activity using a CRM system
7. Building product knowledge over time with structured training and coaching
8. As you develop, supporting smaller business customers (training provided)
What we're looking for from the Insurance Advisor
9. Previous Insurance customer service experience (motor/home Insurance ideal)
10. Comfortable with sales conversations, including upsell and cross-sell
11. Confident communicator (verbal and written) with a strong telephone manner
12. Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
13. Organised, reliable and able to manage your own workload
14. A positive, "can-do" approach and enjoyment of working in a small team
15. Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English
