Role Overview
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across manufacturing operations. You’ll work closely with production, engineering, and inspection teams to ensure products meet both internal and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
* Developing, maintaining, and improving quality control systems across manufacturing
* Leading inspection and quality assurance activities on precision‑engineered components
* Investigating non‑conformances, carrying out root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions
* Working closely with engineering and production to embed quality into processes, not inspect it at the end
* Reviewing and improving inspection methods, procedures, and documentation
* Supporting supplier quality activities, including issue resolution and ongoing improvement
* Assisting with internal audits and ISO quality compliance
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across quality and manufacturing
Essential Requirements
* Experience in a Quality Engineer, Quality Control, or Quality Assurance role within manufacturing
* Strong understanding of inspection techniques and measurement equipment
* Knowledge of quality tools, including root cause analysis and corrective action processes
* Excellent attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach
Desirable Requirements
* Experience within precision engineering, machining, or transmission components
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality standards
* Confidence working with technical drawings and engineering documentation
