Your new role You will lead on the development and delivery of strategic partnerships that drive economic growth and resilience across Oxford. This is a high-impact interim position, ideal for a pro-active and collaborative professional with an excellent understanding of place-based economic development. Leading engagement with key economic stakeholders Supporting the delivery of economic strategy and action plans Identify and develop funding opportunities Represent the council in regional and national forums Co-ordinate cross-sector initiatives What you'll need to succeed You will need to be a confident and experienced economic development professional with an excellent track record of working within the private or public sector. Experienced in economic development, regeneration, or place-based strategy. Commercial awareness. Communication, negotiation, and project management capability. Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into action. What you'll get in return In return, you will receive an initial six-month contract position which is highly likely to extend beyond this point. A day rate of between £350 - £400 per day is achievable for this role, alongside hybrid and flexible working patterns.
