An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join this world leading manufacturer of Human Machine Interfaces, based in Newark.
Responsibilities
* Develop prototypes to production
* Shape the product using experience and knowledge
* Interface with customers
* Participate in design reviews and stage gate process
* Design, develop and test electro‑mechanical products
Qualifications
* Solid understanding and experience with commonly used manufacturing processes including plastic injection‑moulding and CNC milling
* Proficient user of SolidWorks
* Experience of interfacing with customers
* Experience with full design lifecycle including design reviews and the stage gate process or similar
* Confident in design, development and testing of electro‑mechanical products
* Ideally have a Mechanical Engineering Degree
