Job Title: Managing Agent / Estate Manager (H&S / Land & Property)

Salary: Circa £50,000 + benefits pro rata (50% utilised)

The Opportunity: We are supporting an established environmental consultancy and estate management provider in the appointment of a Principal Managing Agent / Estate Manager to oversee a portfolio of land and vacant property assets across the Midlands (Nottingham region).
This role sits within a specialist team responsible for ensuring land and property assets are safely managed, compliant and operationally maintained. The position combines estate management, contractor coordination and health & safety oversight across a geographically spread portfolio.
It is a hands-on, operational role that requires regular site visits, stakeholder coordination, and the practical management of land and estate-related risks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of land and vacant property assets across multiple regional sites
* Ensure health & safety compliance across estate environments
* Coordinate contractors and works programmes, including maintenance and improvement works
* Conduct site inspections and risk assessments
* Manage issues relating to vacant property, land use and estate management
* Act as a key liaison between consultants, contractors, clients and internal teams
* Ensure all estate activity is delivered in line with safety and compliance requirements
Candidate Profile:
This role would suit someone with experience in:
* Estate management
* Land and property management
* Facilities management
* Vacant property management
* Environmental or landscape management
* Health & safety within estates or property environments
You should be comfortable managing multiple sites, contractors and stakeholders while maintaining strong compliance standards.
Essential Experience:
* Experience managing property, land or estate portfolios
* Strong working knowledge of health & safety legislation
* Experience managing contractors and site works
* Ability to manage multiple sites and stakeholders
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
Desirable:
* NEBOSH, IOSH or similar H&S qualification
* Experience within environmental consultancy, estates or property sectors
* Experience managing vacant property portfolios
