Responsibilities
* Lead and manage KS1 staff to secure high quality teaching and learning.
* Monitor and evaluate standards of teaching, learning and pupil progress across KS1.
* Support staff through coaching, mentoring and professional development.
* Ensure effective curriculum planning and assessment in line with the National Curriculum and EYFS Framework.
* Promote an inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
* Use assessment information effectively to raise standards and improve outcomes.
* Lead initiatives to improve provision, attainment and progress.
* Develop positive relationships with parents, carers and external agencies.
* Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times.
* Contribute to school self‑evaluation and improvement planning.
