Position: CNC Machinist
Company: Multax Ltd
Shift: Monday- Thursday 6pm -04.30am
Location: Andover, Hampshire
The Role:
As a CNC Machinist, you’ll be a vital part of our manufacturing process, responsible for:
* Setting up and operating 5-axis CNC machines.
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
* Selecting appropriate tooling and work‑holding methods.
* Ensuring a “Right First Time” approach to all tasks.
* Collaborating with the quality team to ensure part conformity and traceability.
* Communicating equipment needs with team leaders and managers.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience with 5-axis CNC machines.
* Experience with Heidenhain and/or Fanuc systems.
* Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
* Skilled in using measuring tools (e.g., Vernier callipers, bore micrometres).
* Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
Preferred:
* Knowledge of metallic materials.
* CAD/CAM experience (Hypermill training available).
