Join the team that brings Aston Martin's cutting-edge software to life. As a Senior Software Integration Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that every feature and function across our vehicle's electrical systems is seamlessly delivered, integrated, and validated. Working within the Software Integration Team, you'll collaborate with Electrical Architecture and Commodity Teams to implement new technologies, resolve complex issues, and support prototype builds and production lines.
This role demands deep technical expertise in automotive electrical systems, communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Flexray, and Ethernet, and a strong grasp of diagnostics standards such as UDS and DOIP. You'll be expected to lead integration workstreams, manage special projects, and represent EE Integration in technical reviews and escalation forums. Your experience with tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, J IRA and CANape will be essential, as will your ability to interpret circuit diagrams and requirements documentation.
We're looking for someone with proven leadership experience in a technical automotive electrical role, ideally with domain knowledge in Powertrain, Chassis, ADAS, Body, or Infotainment. A degree in Electronic or Automotive Engineering (2:1 or higher) is required, and a master's degree is preferred. Familiarity with scripting languages, ODX, and automotive development systems will be advantageous.
To thrive in this role, you'll need to be a confident and outgoing communicator. You'll be interfacing regularly with module owners and test teams, so being proactive in raising issues and discussing solutions with stakeholders is essential. Building strong relationships and driving collaboration will be key to your success.
At Aston Martin, you'll be part of a legendary brand with a forward-looking mindset. You'll have the opportunity to grow within the Electrical Department, whether into expert technical roles or leadership positions. Occasional travel may be required to support vehicle testing at our other sites including IDIADA in Spain.
If you're ready to help shape the future of luxury performance vehicles through software integration, we'd love to hear from you.
