We are seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to support our kitchen team and help deliver authentic northern Italian food to a consistently high standard.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and execute Lombardian pasta dishes including pizzoccheri, casoncelli, and fresh egg pasta
* Produce thin-crust pizza in the northern Italian style
* Assist with signature Milanese dishes such as osso buco, cotoletta alla Milanese, and risotto alla Milanese
* Support the Head Chef with kitchen operations, ordering, and quality control
* Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times
* Assist in training junior kitchen staff
Qualifications
* 2-3 years' experience in an Italian kitchen; knowledge of northern Italian cuisine an advantage
* Strong fresh pasta skills with familiarity with regional Lombardian varieties
* Experience with thin-crust pizza preparation
* Ability to perform calmly under pressure during busy service
* Right to work in the UK
* £14 - £16 hourly
