As a Growth Marketing Assistant, you will support the Head of Agency in delivering outstanding marketing services to our financial planning clients. This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone eager to develop their career in client experience and marketing, with a focus on content, video, and organic growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head of Agency in day-to-day activities.
* Support the planning, execution, and reporting of marketing campaigns for financial planning clients, with a focus on video, content, and organic channels.
* Assist in the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across digital platforms (social media, blogs, email newsletters, etc.).
* Coordinate video shoots, manage logistics, and liaise with clients and studio teams for content production.
* Edit videos to ensure high quality content across all of our projects.
* Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and new opportunities for client growth.
* Monitor and analyse campaign performance, preparing regular reports and recommendations for optimisation.
* Maintain and update marketing databases, client records, and project management tools.
* Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, tracking project timelines, and managing communications.
* Attend occasional in-person filming sessions, client meetings, and initial onboarding in Newcastle.
Essential Requirements
* Positive, proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and progress in marketing.
* Excellent organisational skills; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
* Creative skills in copywriting, basic design & video editing.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
* Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
* Familiarity with video production processes and content marketing best practices.
* Comfortable with digital tools and platforms (e.g. Go High Level, content management systems, social media schedulers, Canva, Capcut, Microsoft Office).
* Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively as part of a fast-paced team.
* Willingness and flexibility to travel occasionally for filming, client meetings, and onboarding.
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Experience working in or with financial planning or professional services firms
* Understanding of SEO, analytics, and data-driven marketing.
* Project management experience or certification.
