About you
We are looking for a candidate with a genuine passion for teaching and supporting the development of student physiotherapists.
You will be dedicated, innovative and a collaborative team member, with a clear focus on both student development and your own professional growth.
This passion will be demonstrated through your experience working with students, whether as an educator/mentor in clinical practice or within a university setting. Your commitment to high standards, combined with a transparent and open approach to your work, will reflect your suitability for this post.
You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and have experience working in UK healthcare settings. While a master's degree is desirable, it is not essential for this position.
Your clinical experience will enable you to enrich the student experience within a UK-based physiotherapy curriculum, ensuring that learners are well-prepared for their future careers.
Substantial organisational and prioritisation skills are essential to manage tasks across multiple work streams and meet deadlines. Additionally, effective communication skills are crucial for collaborating with a variety of professional teams.
Qualifications
Essential;
1. Degree qualification or equivalent in relevant subject
2. Relevant professional qualification required. HCPC Physiotherapist registered
Desirable;
3. Master’s degree in relevant subject
4. Doctorate in relevant subject, completed or within 12 months
5. Professional Recognition as HEA Fellow (D2) or teaching qualification recognised by HESA, or willingness to obtain within an agreed timescale of completion
