About Us
The Side by Side is a busy, welcoming cafe/bar in the heart of Cleethorpes known for great drinks, good vibes, and friendly service. We're looking for enthusiastic part-time bar staff to join our team and help create a great experience for our customers. We are expanding our team due to opening extra hours to serve breakfast/brunch.
The Role
As part of our bar team, you'll be serving drinks, engaging with customers, and helping keep the venue running smoothly during busy service. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where personality and teamwork are key.
Key Responsibilities
* Serving drinks efficiently and to a high standard
* Providing friendly, attentive customer service
* Taking orders and handling payments using EPOS
* Keeping the bar clean, stocked, and organised
* Supporting with opening/closing duties
* Maintaining a positive atmosphere on shift
* Following licensing and health & safety procedures
What We're Looking For
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Great communication and people skills
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Reliable and punctual
* Available to work evenings and weekends
* Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred but not essential — full training provided
