Assistant Manager responsibilities include:
* Coordinating daily store operations in the absence of the General Manager, leading by example
* Following all cash handling procedures
* Being accountable for overall business performance, including sales, stock, and labor
* Delivering excellent customer service and maximizing satisfaction
* Responding promptly to resolve customer complaints
* Organizing and supervising shifts with a focus on excellence
* Ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, completing checklists
* Maintaining food and drink quality to brand standards
* Controlling operational costs and reducing waste
* Promoting the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and events
* Motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to team members and leaders to meet targets
Requirements and skills:
* Proven experience as an Assistant Manager in a branded or quick service restaurant environment
* Experience managing front and back of house teams in a fast-paced setting
* Leadership experience in hospitality seeking career advancement
* Customer service management experience
* Extensive food and beverage knowledge, including ingredient and dish details
* Familiarity with restaurant management software
* Strong leadership, motivation, and people skills
* Desire to learn, develop, and progress
