HGV Technician - Days - Needed in Preston:
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 8:00pm (40 hours per week)
2. Salary: Basic up to £48,000 (£18 - £23 per hour)

Key Responsibilities of a HGV Technician:
3. Service, inspect, and repair HGV, PCV, and RCV vehicles
4. Carry out MOT preparations to ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards
5. Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems
6. Undertake fitting and repair work as required
7. Follow safety procedures and vehicle maintenance regulations
8. Utilise strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
9. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve workshop targets
What We’re Looking For:
10. Proven experience as an HGV Technician (experience with PCV/RCV also advantageous)
11. Qualified to a Level 3 standard in HGV maintenance and repair (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
12. Strong diagnostic and repair skills
13. Full UK driving licence (HGV/PCV licence desirable)
14. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
