Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for an experienced eLearning designer with strong Articulate 360 skills, particularly in Storyline and Rise. We need experience designing and developing eLearning using ADDIE, SAM, or Agile methodologies. We require a good understanding of digital accessibility standards and inclusive design principles. We value strong written and verbal communication skills. We need someone who is highly self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills. We will provide a structured one-year programme to build your knowledge of digital accessibility, assistive technologies, accessibility standards, and relevant legislation. Responsibilities: We will expect you to design and create high-quality, engaging eLearning content focused on disability, accessibility, and inclusion. We will ask you to develop accessible and inclusive learning materials for a wide range of users. We will need you to work closely with Learning and Development teams to provide guidance and consultancy on accessible eLearning design and delivery. We will expect you to deliver training sessions on accessibility in eLearning to build capability across teams. We will ask you to create and deliver training on developing accessible content using Storyline, Rise, and other multimedia platforms. We will expect you to test digital learning products using assistive technologies. We will need you to provide consultancy and training support to learning and development teams across the organisation. We may ask you to travel occasionally to different locations to support business needs, usually within a reasonable distance and planned in advance. Technologies: Support UX UI Design More: We are the Accessibility Standards and Strategy Team, and we play a key role in building an inclusive culture across DWP. We support colleagues to deliver products, services, and internal communications that are accessible, inclusive, and compliant with accessibility legislation. We lead research, document and share best practices, educate teams across DWP, and monitor and report on accessibility compliance. This is a hybrid role based in one of our sites in Birmingham, Dundee, Falkirk, Blackpool, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Plymouth, Sheffield, Sunderland, Swansea, or Treforest (Pontypridd), with flexible hours and a strong focus on work-life balance.
