Executive Assistant to Group CEO – Manchester
A leading multi-channel retail business in Manchester is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support its Group CEO in a high-profile and influential role.
Working within the Executive Office, you will collaborate closely with the CEO and the CEO's Personal Assistant, helping to manage priorities, coordinate leadership activities, and drive key strategic initiatives across the organisation.

Executive Assistant Responsibilities
No two days will be the same, but key responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the CEO and the CEO's Personal Assistant to manage priorities, meetings, and key leadership activities.
- Coordinating the CEO's schedule, engagements, and internal interactions to ensure focus remains on critical business objectives.
- Preparing high-quality briefing documents, presentations, reports, and meeting materials for leadership discussions and strategic planning sessions.
- Monitoring progress against business-critical projects and initiatives, ensuring accountability and timely follow-up across senior leadership teams.
- Supporting the planning, organisation, and administration of Executive Leadership Team meetings, including agenda management and action tracking.
- Acting as a central point of coordination between departments on matters requiring CEO visibility, input, or approval.
- Supporting the delivery of cross-functional projects on behalf of the CEO.
- Monitoring developments across the business and producing concise executive summaries and briefings.
- Assisting with internal communications, leadership updates, and messaging from the CEO.
- Organising executive meetings, leadership events, strategy sessions, and off-site meetings.
- Providing structure, organisation, and project oversight across the CEO's priorities to ensure successful execution of key initiatives.
Executive Assistant Requirements
To be considered for this Executive Assistant position in Manchester, you will ideally have:
- Significant experience as a Senior Executive Assistant, Executive Business Partner, or Chief of Staff.
- Experience supporting C-suite executives in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Outstanding organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong project coordination and leadership support experience.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to work independently.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is negotiable for the right candidate, depending on experience. Candidates should confirm their minimum salary expectations on the next page (range £50-£60K)
