An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join a growing and forward-thinking construction business based in West Malling.
This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, commercial awareness, and a proven background in managing the pre-construction process from initial enquiry through to project handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the full pre-construction lifecycle
* Coordinating bids, tenders, and proposals
* Working closely with estimating, commercial, and operational teams
* Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
* Reviewing project feasibility, risks, and value engineering opportunities
* Supporting business development and maintaining client relationships
* Ensuring programmes, costs, and technical submissions are aligned
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Pre-Construction Manager or similar role
* Strong understanding of construction processes and procurement routes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
* Full UK driving licence preferred
