Each product is delivered through a complex, long-duration assembly process, requiring excellent operational oversight, uncompromising quality standards, and disciplined leadership.This is a senior operational role within a secure manufacturing environment, responsible for end-to-end factory performance, people leadership, compliance, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Provide overall leadership and day-to-day management of factory operationsEnsure production plans and schedules are delivered safely, on time, and to specificationMaintain and enforce robust quality assurance standards across complex assembly processesDrive process improvement through lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with all UK Health & Safety legislation and internal policiesManage factory budgets, cost control, and efficient resource allocationLead, motivate, and develop a skilled workforce, fostering a culture of accountability and excellenceWork closely with Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and end customer to ensure seamless coordination and deliveryAbout You:The successful candidate will demonstrate:Experience in factory or manufacturing managementProven experience managing high-value, complex assembly operationsStrong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain operationsA track record of leading and developing high-performing teamsExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skillsPlease note that any offer of employment is conditional upon successful completion of BPSS and SC clearance.
