The Role
Ebeni is recruiting several bright, dynamic, and energetic Nuclear Safety Engineers to provide safety, risk, and licensing support across naval and civil nuclear programmes. Responsibilities include:
* Lead tasks and manage smaller projects while undertaking safety engineering activities defined by Project Safety Plans and Safety Management Systems.
* Perform hazard analysis to define safety requirements and detailed systems reviews.
* Develop safety arguments and draft safety cases to support assurance and certification activities.
* Conduct Independent Peer and Periodic Safety Reviews for Nuclear Site Licensees and Design Authorities.
* Provide licensing support in relation to civil and defence nuclear regulations.
* Undertake safety assessment via application of appropriate regulatory requirements, legislation, tools and techniques.
* Liaise with system developers, certification bodies, operators, and facilities management as necessary regarding safety.
All applicants must obtain and/or maintain a valid security clearance.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in Nuclear Safety domain – Naval Nuclear, Nuclear Decommissioning, or Nuclear Power Station New Build.
* Demonstrated experience authoring safety cases, assessing risk, and implementing controls.
* Ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Desire to strive for the highest quality standards with focus on delivery and excellence.
* Excellent communication skills across all levels of the company.
* Team player committed to supporting the New Business Unit.
