Roles and Responsibilities
As an SEN English Teacher, you will:
* Adapt English teaching methods and utilise alternative literacy frameworks to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
* Build strong, professional relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
* Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a productive and respectful atmosphere.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar teaching role.
* Proven experience teaching students with various special educational needs, with a preference for experience in Autism, ADHD, Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
* An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
* The legal right to work in the UK.
