Prospero Teaching is looking for English, Maths and Science Tutors to deliver bespoke tuition packages on a 1:1 basis to secondary-aged young people currently without a school placement.
The Opportunity
This English, Maths and Science Tutor role is ideal for someone seeking to move away from the classroom while making a positive impact on disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. The successful tutor will create, plan, and deliver tailored 1:1 lessons to bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 education, enhancing engagement and attainment levels.

We seek English, Maths, and Science Tutors who are passionate about working with children and young people with diverse learning needs, employing a creative, flexible, and holistic approach to elevate attainment and improve their educational outlook.
Contract/Position Details:
* Location – Within the community or pupils' homes in Warwickshire
* Position – English, Maths, and Science Tutor
* Type of work – Contract
* Start date – ASAP
* Duration – Until the pupil reintegrates into a new school
* End date – Ongoing
* Contract type – Temporary
* Full-time/part-time – Part-time (15 hours per week per student)
* Minimum rate of pay – GBP 22+ per hour
* Hours – Flexible, depending on family schedules
Experience, Training, and Qualifications:
* QTS or equivalent
* UK classroom teaching experience
* Creativity, patience, and innovative thinking
* Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
Eligibility:
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service or willingness to obtain one
* Two professional child-related references
