Job Summary
The International Sales Executive supports the International Distribution Manager in driving growth across global markets by developing new business opportunities, nurturing distributor relationships, and delivering exceptional customer-focused sales support. This role involves following up on leads, researching new potential customers, managing distributor accounts, and contributing to sales targets through close collaboration with marketing, trade, education, and NPD teams. The position plays a key role in rolling out new product launches, providing trade pricing and campaign assets, resolving order, delivery, customs, and product issues, and ensuring distributors are fully supported with education, training, and event engagement. With a strong focus on communication, relationship-building, and customer intelligence, the International Sales Executive monitors account performance against growth plans while building long-term, trusted partnerships across international distribution networks.
Role Outline
* Contributing to sales target by assisting the head of the department and supporting with marketing ideas
* Managing relationships with distribution customers to ensure highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times
* Working alongside the Trade Marketing Manager to role out NPD
* Communicating orders to clients and listing any OFS and suggesting alternatives
* Resolving delivery or custom issues and submitting paperwork when required for specific countries
* Supporting with any product complaints and feeding back to NPD team
* Providing trade pricing, marketing materials and social assets per campaign
* Attending and supporting client events alongside the head of the department or Education Manager
* Networking strongly across Distribution Partners
* Creating strong and trustworthy business relationships
* Supporting education seminars and training dates alongside the Education Manager for existing and new international distribution clients
* Supporting with adhoc admin for international sales
* Working closely with The Education Team to ensure all Distributors are supported by Education
* Creating strong and trustworthy business relationships
* Knowing customer profiles and transmiting customer centricity building deep customer intelligence and data
* Monitoring and reporting all accounts performances against the plan / growth
Required Skills
* Previous experience managing international relationships with distributors
* Background in the hair and beauty industry advantageous
* Previous experience with international delivery, shipping, customs, taxes and paperwork
* Exceptional customer service skills, with a proven record of achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and conflict resolution
* Ideally, background from the hair and beauty industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
* Strong organisational and planning skills
* Strong in numeracy
* Ability to work with Salesforce, Forecasting Trackers, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, & Email
* Ability to gain and maintain strong professional relationships
