The role
As a Inventory Clerk, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You are enabling and assisting in keeping our armed forces equipped and prepared at all times.
Day-to-day, you’ll provision of a range of spares and/or repairable items within the Babcock DSG Land Supply Team in accordance with DSG Land Supply policies, systems and processes.
1. Action demands according to priority within designated timescales
2. Undertake all provisioning support activities as directed
3. Process planned orders within the business
4. Make full use of data, systems and best practice to meet customer expectations and business performance
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Donnington.
Essential experience of the Inventory Clerk
5. Base IT – Component Microsoft Office user (Excel, Word).
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
7. Able to communicate at all levels of the business
8. Able to work closely with all relevant stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
9. Ability to relate to both client and customer needs at all levels with respect to operational delivery requirements
