Purpose of the Role
To manage a caseload of participants in the community and CFO Activity Hubs, supporting them to overcome barriers, achieve personal goals, and progress toward sustainable resettlement, education, training, and employment. The role also supports delivery at satellite (pop-up) hubs across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Participant Support & Delivery
Deliver and coordinate all stages of participant engagement, including induction, assessment, and delivery of education, training, and employment (ETE) activities.
Facilitate interventions and group sessions based on the Hub timetable.
Manage a caseload of participants with complex needs, providing tailored, person-centred support.
Recruit, train, and mentor Hub Peer Mentors.
Support through-the-gate transitions and pre-release activity for participants entering the community.
Partnership & Referral Management
Build and maintain relationships with referral agencies, community partners, and employers to ensure effective participant progression and avoid duplication of services.
Develop links with education, training, and employment providers to create sustainable pathways for participants.
Collaborate with colleagues, subcontractors, and managers to ensure consistent service delivery across the region.
Performance & Compliance
Accurately record case notes, achievements, and participant data on CATS+ (or other systems) to meet contractual and reporting standards.
Work within safeguarding, data protection, and confidentiality guidelines at all times.
Participate in supervision and team meetings, contributing to continuous improvement.
Promote safe and sustainable working practices and uphold equality, diversity, and inclusion principles.
Person Specification
Essential
Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital systems.
Proven experience supporting individuals with multiple and complex needs toward education, training, or employment outcomes.
Strong communication, motivational, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience meeting performance targets and maintaining accurate data records.
Understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries, and risk management.
Flexible, proactive, and resilient with a problem-solving approach.
Enhanced DBS clearance and access to transport.
Desirable
IAG qualification (e.g., NVQ Information, Advice and Guidance).
Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or PTLLS).
Experience supporting offenders in custody or the community.
Knowledge of restorative justice and rehabilitative approaches.
