Overview
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team. This role is crucial in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, where they can develop social, emotional, and foundational educational skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement age-appropriate educational activities that cater to the development of children aged 0-5 years.
* Mentor and guide staff to ensure high standards of care and education are achieved in accordance with regulatory compliance.
* Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to safety principles and best practices.
* Monitor and assess children's progress and development, and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s milestones.
* Collaborate with the team to develop and assess key performance indicators to improve educational outcomes.
* Manage budgets and resources efficiently to ensure the sustainability of nursery programs and activities.
* Ensure compliance with all local regulations and standards governing early childhood education.
Essential Qualifications
* Relevant experience in early childhood education, specifically focusing on the development of children under the age of 5.
* Strong mentoring and team management skills.
* Deep understanding of regulatory compliance related to early years settings.
* Ability to design educational programs that meet the diverse needs of children.
* Proficient in budgeting skills for resource management.
Desired Experience
* Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team to deliver high-quality education.
* Experience in using key performance indicators to track and enhance children’s development.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: £21,000 - £28,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
