Due to the expansion of our landscaping division, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Garden Maintenance Operative to work as part of a team on a static site at Oakhurst House. As a Garden Maintenance Operative you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our grounds maintenance operations. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Carrying out a complete range of grounds maintenance tasks as directed by your line manager.
* Conducting regular inspections of grounds and report any potential on-site hazards or equipment malfunction and take corrective actions as needed.
* Ensuring that you observe safety procedures and use safe working practices specifically regarding COSHH and Risk Assessments, reporting accidents and near misses to your line manager.
* Contributing to a positive team dynamic, building productive and professional relationships with team members, other employees, managers, clients, and external agencies.
* Providing support in the completion of any necessary documentation or reports, such as timesheets or site condition updates, as needed.
Role Requirements:
* Experience in all aspects of commercial grounds maintenance
* Full clean driving licence
* Plant knowledge and other tickets an advantage
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to display a positive and can-do attitude
* PA1/6 spray licence and Trailer licence desirable
