We're looking for someone to join the online team as an Fleet Specialist, Online in the Operations Team based in the field on a full-time permanent basis. This role will involve working 40 hours over 5 days a week. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the online team. This role will lead the development and implementation of our end to end processes for over 800 online delivery vehicles. Ensure they are available and operated within safe, legal and cost effective parameters. The individual will ensure our delivery fleet is roadworthy and ready to respond to our customer demand and financial sales plan at all times. You will work collaboratively with external service providers and stores to facilitate and manage preventative maintenance and vehicle uptime. You will develop, implement and manage safe, legal processes and continuous improvement within our delivery fleet and manage the end to end costs for the delivery fleet within established budgets. Some of your responsibilities will include: Build weekly / monthly and periodic performance reporting of business area Successful partnering with the wider business on projects Support the central team in maintaining a compliant safe and legal and fleet Build strong relationships with teams across the business to influence our stores and field teams to provide fleet in the right place/time to serve our customers/sales plan Visiting stores, identifying performance gaps and creating solutions to resolve Be the gatekeeper for vehicle compliance with our third party providers Work with stores to drive down avoidable costs and support delivery of weekly damage budget Review safety incidents and work collaboratively with stores to close any performance gaps Support the Home Delivery and Click and Collect expansion plan Manage the accurate record keeping necessary to operate our fleet to meet safe, legal, and compliance requirements of relevant authorities About you We've built an incredibly diverse business, and we're working hard to make sure we truly represent the communities we serve.
