Hunter Selection are partnered with a leading manufacturer in the Newport area looking to recruit a quality engineer. Roles and Responsibilities
* Verify product specification and ensure accurate communication to design and engineering teams.
* Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with internal quality standards.
* Investigate and resolve quality issues raised both internally and externally.
* Support internal and external audits, liaising with certification bodies as required and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
* Attend production and operations meetings to report on quality issues.
* Prepare and present quality performance reports and improvement plans.
* Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
* Manufacturing background, preferably with an engineered product.
* 2-3 years experience in quality engineering role.
* ISO 9001 experience.
