Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in a secondary school setting?
We're working with a supportive secondary school on the Wirral who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support students both academically and pastorally.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting students in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN and behavioural challenges
Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
Helping to adapt learning materials to meet individual student needs
Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff to support student progress and wellbeing
What we're looking for:
A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience working with secondary-aged pupils (11-16)
Confidence supporting students with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs
A calm, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A reliable and professional attitude
